Pre-Operation Preparation
- Ensure the mobile phone has “Location Services” enabled.
- Grant “Yoosee” App the location permission.
- Note: Location permission is used to assist the phone and camera in connecting to Wi-Fi and determining if the App enters single-machine mode during the addition process.
Permission Grant Steps
- Enter the mobile phone’s system settings.
- Search for and enable “Location Services.”
- Find Yoosee in the App permissions, and set “Location Information” to “Allow.”
Camera Preparation and Connection Steps
I. Camera Operations
- Connect the camera to the power source.
- Wait for the camera to emit a “du-du” sound for network pairing.
- If there’s no response, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds, and retry after hearing a “di” sound.
II. Mobile Phone Connection Operations
- Connect to Wi-Fi or enable mobile data, and open the Yoosee App.
- Go to the mobile phone’s system settings and select WLan / Wi-Fi.
- Connect to the camera’s hotspot GW_AP_XXXXX”(no password required).
- After successfully connecting, return to the App.
- Wait for the automatic connection and enter the monitoring interface.
- If it does not redirect, ensure the mobile phone’s “Location” function is enabled and the App is granted location permission.
Precautions
- Keep the mobile phone within 5 meters of the camera to ensure communication; single-machine mode does not support remote monitoring.
- Power outages may cause time discrepancies in the camera, which will automatically synchronize after reconnection.
- 4G cameras do not support single-machine mode.
Exiting Single-Machine Mode
- Method 1: Disconnect the mobile phone from the “GW_AP_XXXXX” Wi-Fi connection.
- Method 2: Press and hold the camera’s reset button for more than 5 seconds to reset the camera.
