How to Update the Camera Firmware

8-Digit ID Cameras:

1. Open the Yoosee App homepage.
2. Tap the three dots “┆” in the top right corner to enter the Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap “Firmware Update” to check the current firmware version.

10-Digit ID Cameras:

1. Open the Yoosee App homepage.
2. Tap the three dots “┆” in the top right corner to enter the Settings.
3. Tap the camera name, then tap “Firmware Update” to check the current firmware version.

Notes:

• After starting the firmware update, if it fails, do not unplug the power. Wait 5 minutes and check again.
• The update process takes approximately 3-5 minutes. During this time, the device may appear offline. Do not turn off the power, disconnect the network, or operate the camera.

Firmware Update Error Messages:

• Update failed (-1) / (-2): Check your network connection.
• Update failed (-5) / (-6) / (-7) / (-8): Restart the router and modem, or try using a mobile hotspot.
• Error code (-10): Wait for the update to complete.
• Error code (-11): The update has been completed, but the status has notbeen refreshed.
