How to Set Up Alarm and Light Activation When Motion is Detected?

Alarm Spotlight Light Function Settings:

For 8-Digit ID Cameras:

  1. Set Alarm Status: In the Yoosee App, switch the camera to “On Guard.”
  2. Access Settings: Tap the “┇” icon in the upper right corner of the camera screen to enter the settings page.
  3. Enable Motion Detection: In the “Alarm Type” section, ensure “Motion Detection” is enabled.
  4. Enable Alarm  Spotlight: In the “Alarm Type” section, turn on the “Alarm Spotlight” option.
    Note: The camera must be in “On Guard” status, and the Spotlight will only be triggered in night mode.

For 10-Digit ID Cameras:

  1. Access Settings: In the Yoosee App, tap the “┇” icon in the upper right corner of the camera screen to enter the settings page.
  2. Events Function: Click on Events option and find the Spotlight.
    Note: The Events feature is enabled 24/7 by default; if specific guardian times are set, the event trigger must occur within that time frame.

Possible Reasons for No Alarm White Light Functionality:

  • The camera may not be equipped with a white light.
  • If the light board is malfunctioning, and it still does not turn on after a reboot, there may be hardware damage. It is recommended to contact the seller for repair.
