Your camera automatically switches between normal and night vision modes based on the surrounding light conditions. When the ambient light is low, the camera will automatically switch to a black-and-white night vision mode, and the red LED light on the camera will turn on and cannot be turned off.
If you need a color image, you can manually enable the white light function on the monitoring page. Here’s how to do it（refer to the video below）:
- Open the monitoring page.
- Find the Spotlight button and click it to activate the white light function
If you don’t see the Spotlight button on your monitoring page, you can resolve this issue in the following ways:
- Check if there’s an available firmware update. If there is, update to the latest version and then check if the Spotlight button appears.
- If your firmware is up to date and you still don’t see the Spotlight option, contact the seller to confirm whether the camera you purchased supports the white light function.
